Colory Privacy Policy

Thank you for choosing to use "Colory" (hereinafter referred to as "this App").

We attach great importance to your privacy and the security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy aims to clearly and transparently explain how we handle your information when you use the "Colory" App, and what rights you have with respect to your information.

1. How We Handle Your Information

1.1 Processing of User Content (Moments, Color Cards, etc.)

• Local Storage: All content you create and store through this App (including but not limited to moments, color cards, etc., collectively referred to as "User Content") is only saved in the local storage space of the device on which you install this App (such as iPhone or iPad). We do not collect, upload, access, store, or back up any of your User Content to any private cloud server. All your personal data is entirely under your control on your device.
• iCloud Sync: This App supports cross-device synchronization of User Content through iCloud. Its design principles strictly follow the following points:
  • Completely Optional: Using iCloud sync is an entirely optional feature. Users need to actively enable this feature. By default, your data will still only be stored locally.
  • User in Full Control: The upload, synchronization, and storage of data will be entirely controlled by the iCloud settings on your device and your Apple ID permissions. This App itself does not directly access, read, write, or manage your iCloud storage space. We only use the sandboxed APIs officially provided by Apple to request synchronization.
  • Zero Data Retention: Crucially, regardless of whether you choose to use the iCloud sync feature, this App will not collect, store, access, or retain your User Content on any of our own servers. The final storage location of this data is only on your device's local storage or under your personal iCloud space. We have no access to such data and cannot obtain it.
  • No Other Sync Functions: This App does not provide or support data synchronization through any other form of cloud service (non-iCloud).

1.2 Collection and Use of Personal Information

• Core Functions Require No Personal Information: The core functions of this App can be used normally without you providing any personal information (such as name, email address, phone number, ID number, etc.).
• We do not actively collect your personally identifiable information. Your experience using this App is anonymous.

1.3 Device Information and Log Information

• Minimized Collection: To ensure the stable operation of this App on your device and for necessary troubleshooting, we may collect a minimal amount of non-identifiable device information and usage logs locally on your device. This may include:
  • Device model and operating system version.
  • App version number.
  • Crash logs or error reports related to this App (these logs only contain technical information and do not contain your User Content).
• Local Processing: Such information is only used to diagnose and fix issues locally on your device. We will not upload this information to our servers, nor will we use it for any other purpose. If you choose to send crash reports to us (if this option is available), we will receive this anonymized technical information to improve App quality.

1.4 Third-Party Services and Tracking

• No Ads or Analytics SDKs: This App does not integrate any third-party advertising software development kits (SDKs) or user behavior analytics tracking tools (for example, it does not collect the advertising identifier IDFA).
• No User Tracking: We do not track your user behavior, usage habits, or activities across other Apps or websites.
• No Data Sharing: Since we do not collect your User Content or identity information, and we do not use third-party tracking services, we will not share any of your personal data or User Content with any third party (including advertisers or analytics companies).

2. Information Storage

2.1 Storage Location

Your User Content and the minimal device/log information we may collect are only stored in the local storage space of your device. We have no servers in mainland China or overseas for storing your User Content.

2.2 Storage Duration

Your User Content will be stored on your device until you actively delete it through this App's functions or the device system settings. We do not retain deleted data. The duration of device/log information stored locally is determined by the device system or App settings, usually for a short period.

3. Your Rights

Since your User Content is completely localized and we cannot access it, you have full control over your information:

3.1 Access and Correction:

You can directly view, edit, and modify all your User Content within this App.

3.2 Deletion:

You can delete any User Content you create within this App at any time. After deletion, the data will be removed from your device storage (following the device system's deletion mechanism).

3.3 Withdrawal of Consent:

You can withdraw your consent to our processing of your information by stopping using this App or deleting the App. After deleting the App, all data related to this App on your device (including User Content) will usually be deleted together.

4. Data Security

4.1 Our Responsibility:

We have taken technical and organizational measures in line with industry practices to ensure the security of this App when processing your local data, preventing unauthorized access, use, or disclosure (limited to the App's own runtime).

4.2 Your Responsibility:

You must take all reasonable measures to protect the security of your device, including but not limited to:

• Setting a strong device passcode, fingerprint recognition, or Face ID.
• Keeping the device operating system and this App up to date.
• Being cautious about installing applications from unknown sources.

4.3 Data Backup:

We strongly recommend and remind you to regularly back up data you consider important (including User Content in this App) to local or external storage media you trust (such as computers, external hard drives, or other cloud services you trust).

4.4 Risk Disclosure:

You hereby explicitly acknowledge and understand that the loss of User Content due to device loss, theft, hardware damage, operating system failure, accidental deletion, virus infection, or malicious software attack is an inherent risk of your use of this App and your device itself. We assume no responsibility for this.

5. Children's Privacy

• This App is not designed for children under 14 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
• If you are the guardian of a child under 14, we recommend that you guide and supervise the child before using this App. You should ensure that the child understands the importance of data backup and assist in managing device security.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

• We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If an update involves significant changes to your rights (such as starting to collect new types of data), we will give you prominent notice through pop-ups and other means within the App.
• Continuing to use this App means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.
